Myke Hurley has been podcasting since 2010. What started as a hobby for him became a passion, and ultimately a career. In 2014 Myke co-founded the podcast network Relay FM, with Stephen Hackett. Myke now hosts a variety of podcasts with topics ranging from the latest in technology, to creativity and productivity, to pens and paper. Myke has been able to take the things that interest him and turn them in to podcasts, with a wide range of talented collaborators. These podcasts are now some of the most successful in their genres.
Along with podcast co-host CGP Grey, Myke also co-founded Cortex Brand, a company that is focussed on creating products and tools for creative professionals. In 2019 they launched The Theme System Journal, which has become a great success, and is currently the core product of Cortex Brand.
In 2020 Myke picked up a new hobby – building custom mechanical keyboards. To compliment this new interest he starting streaming his build processes on Twitch.
Myke lives in London, England with his wife Adina. His professional background prior to podcasting was mostly in financial services and marketing, but his interest in technology and creativity dates back to his teenage years.
